Gold Certified Club
Gold Certified Club
The Buck Hill Ski Racing Club has held the Gold Certified Club status, the highest level of Club Certification awarded by U.S. Ski & Snowboard, since 2014. Buck Hill was the first club in the Midwest to achieve this honor.
The Buck Hill Ski Racing Club was recognized nationally as the "Club of the Year" in 2008!
Podium Level Certification is a reflective, mission-driven process designed for clubs that want to perform a comprehensive organizational assessment in order to verify and demonstrate their understanding of the best principles and implementation of best pratices. The process is a partnership between the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association and the individual club, supported by education and resources. This in-depth process culminates with a club interview for bronze level candidates, or a club visit for silver and gold level candidates.
As a U.S. Ski & Snowboard Podium Certified Club, the Buck Hill Ski Racing Team is expected to engage in a continuous process of self-assessment, reflection and on-going improvement that enables our team to stay relevant to our mission and to our athletes and families we serve.
The Buck Hill Ski Racing Team demonstrates this commitment by working continuously to improve our programs, actively participating in professional development opportunities, and by pursuing and maintaining our certification.
